Bamburgh Castle

From one hotel to the next - today's leg from Aberfeldy to Bamburgh. Back to England, back to sunny summer temperatures. Back to crowded beaches and packed pubs, blue skies and traffic.

However, we're also in one of our favourite places - Bamburgh. I love the castle, the wide sands, and the dunes. We thought about going over to Lindisfarne, but decided we'd had enough driving for a while.
