Car drove into me

A car drove into me. The driver was looking left, saw a break in traffic, and moved forward without looking in front of him and seeing the woman (me) walking, completely legally, in the crosswalk, directly in front of his vehicle. I hit his hood, twice, screamed, "STOP!" multiple times, and he stopped. I went into work shaking with adrenaline and once the rush crashed was exhausted. 

I'm not hurt, I wasn't knocked over, I'm just going to bruise. 

I work with such nice people. They wanted to know if the driver apologized. They wanted to know if we, "discussed it." Um, no. 

Main thing is I'm ok.
