I got up early so I could start cleaning the kitchen, shovelling dust and rubble, then hoovering and mopping. I wore a face mask but by the end my hair was so full of dust it would stand on end.
The kitchen people were supposed to have attached the washing machine for the weekend, and they hadn’t, so I managed to move the new machine into the kitchen and connect it up. No leaks and washing done.
Then back to see Jeanie who was up and again chatty, and she looked at a magazine, and kept talking about people who she was watching. Weird!
I stayed a couple of hours and then came away to mow the lawns.
Harry, Selena and I had supper in the garden, which was lovely.
