Got my steps in

Book club went for a walk round Heaton Park today.  It was a bit hotter than I would have liked but I adapted the walk so we mostly walked down the hills instead of up them.

My friend had messaged me to thank me for suggesting the walk.  Her husband works overseas and she's been spending a lot of time at work and said she had been feeling a bit lonely.  You never quite appreciate why people join the group but it was a lovely reminder about the power of bringing people together.
