Folkestone to Troyes 260 miles

An early start for our first trip through the tunnel...a very civilised experience and we were in France before 10am local time. It’s been a long hot drive and we deviated off the motorway at Reims to visit the derelict racetrack..Circuit de Gueux where we had a picnic lunch.

This afternoon we meandered along the champagne route (there may have been samples) before hitting the motorway again to reach our overnight stop in Troyes. We wandered into the old town tonight for dinner...where I sampled my first ever snail...it was okay but I don’t think it’ll be a regular occurrence!!
