During a big professional tournament like the Manhattan Beach Open, I usually photograph pros who have been on a South of the Border Volleyball Vacation as it helps focus my time. Today, however, with the number of fans clogging the courts, and good vantage points, of my favorites I found myself photographing players I wouldn't normally follow, like Susannah Muno above. I discovered they can be every bit as exciting, and photogenic, as the more popular pros.
