No painting today!

Needed a day to catch up on stuff at home, and go for a leisurely walk with the camera.

i'm reading a fabulous book about rivalries between famous artists....all males of course!!!   Anyway, it seems like most of them ..... we're talking back in the 1900-1940's.....were basically alcoholics!   No wonder one of my fears when i was younger, was that if i gave over to my artist desires i'd become a drunk, irresponsible person - the children would starve, the house would be a mess......makes me wonder if i somehow knew there was a serious link between being an artist and being crazy!   So, today i was a responsible artist and i did some cleaning in the house .... oh and some laundry!   just to keep the scales balanced!

now i'm off to have a g & t........hehehehehehe!
