What a night we had.

The thunder started at 11pm. We had to close the door out to the patio because one of the dogs is just so scared of thunder (and other similar sounds). I opened the door around 12 and just few minutes after that a family came and parked the car right outside our bedroom and what a noise they kept. The daughter was crying the parents were talking loudly. And that lasted and lasted. Had to close the door again, but it's 28°C still in the house, so then it's too hot to sleep. Couldn't use the aircon because of the thunderstorm near by.

So it was door open whenever we could and closed when it was absolutely necessary. I think the storm made a comeback around 3 am. And then it lasted longer. I feel like I didn't sleep much.

We took a walk to the beach after breakfast hoping to catch something of the storm that was over Alicante bay for hours. It just got stuck there and then made it's way to Ibiza to join the other storm front. But it was too far away. Could not see or hear anything.

Around 3 pm we took the dogs out again and it was thundering non stop for at least an hour. The storm was over Elche and we could certainly hear it and see the clouds approaching us. It nearly reached us. The winds came and we got a little bit of rain, but no storm. We were lucky.

According to the weather forecast we and like the other days before it should have been 29°C, but it dropped to chilly 23°C. It's freezing! I miss pants! It's a nice change but quite drastic. Don't think it's gonna last long, so we should just enjoy the chilliness.

The frogs were out on the pavements on our morning walk. I took some shots of the garden after rain. We had a nice walk on the beach and we've seen spectacular clouds today.

We might get stunning sunset too (we did yesterday), but I think I'll stick to this collage today. And opt for early sleep Zzzzzzzz
