Japanese anemone

Why is there always so much admin to catch up with? Half the morning was spent sorting things for running group, community newsletter, birthdays and more, but there was still time to go for a run after the rain stopped and before lunch.
Afterwards I did some more gardening, went for an indoor "garden party" (bright but a bit breezy for outdoors) and then running group meeting and training session. I had the others running for part of it as I was wielding stopwatch and whistle but joined in the second bit, it was a beautiful evening.
