Life's Little Moments

Abstract Thursday

Thank you, Ingeborg, for this week's AT theme - superfartnarkling.  This is exactly what I needed to get out of my own head today.  This photo was taken this afternoon in my garden - it's the same species of butterfly I blipped yesterday, a Red-spotted Admiral.  (See Extra for un-fartnarkled version).  I drug out my tutorial on Twirling and had some fun in Photoshop coming up with this version.  I quite like it, although it is certainly not my normal style.

After missing yesterday, I went to the gym with extra motivation today and did weights and cardio.  I feel less emotionally unsettled than I did yesterday, although things are even more unsettled now than they were a day ago.  Nothing seems to be going easily right now.  We'll get through it though - we always do.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

On of my blip friends made the astute analogy of depression being like Emmental (Swiss) cheese - when you step into a crevice you don't know if it's just a shallow divot or a really deep abyss that will be hard to climb out of.
