FlowerFriday30_2019 Summer's end

well officially of course, Summer doesn't end here in the UK until 23 September, but when I see these japanese anemones begin to flower, I know that Autumn cannot be so far away.  We have three colours of these charming flowers in our garden: white, pale pink  and this deeper pink.
Today turned out to be busier than I had first expected as Daughter #2 and partner were let down by the handyman who had promised to spend a day a their new house, painting, fixing and constructing, so tody I went with them to help with painting (a bright green wall to pink) and the constructing of Violet's bed so that each of them has a place to sleep tonight.  I shall find out tomorrow if all targets were reached...
