Close Encounters of the Seaside Kind

Arriving back at our old holiday haunt, La Palmyre on the west coast. First buying some cheese at an Auvergne farm. The town was packed with holiday makers coming in for the evening craft* market. We both needed a fix of seafood so one of the local restaurants provided a plate of prawns, oysters and boulots, which seem so much more tasty than their UK equivalent of whelks.

It’s good to be away from UK politics although it’s hard to escape it. At least we are on foreign soil in the sunshine as we watch Britain’s descent from being an equal partner in Europe to a vassal state of the USA and China.
