Just a Sip Please

Gulf Fritillary on pink Pentas. I haven't seen a hummingbird all day! They've been here in the yard from sun up to sun down and now nada. Maybe they decided to start their migration a little early, before Hurricane Dorian makes it really difficult to do so. Maybe they're just taking a 'break', although that seems highly unlikely.
Hurricane Dorian Update:
Dorian is slowly approaching the Bahama Islands as a very powerful Category 4 storm. Expected to become a Cat 5. Models are indicating that Dorian is expected to turn north sometime before it reaches the eastern coastline of Florida then head north. Small fluctuations in the atmospheric environment can quickly change those predictions. The east coast of Florida remains within the 'cone' of probability. So we are warned to continue our preparations as though we are in the path. Expectations are that Dorian will continue up the east coast of the U.S., possibly impacting coastal Georgia, and the Carolinas. If the models are accurate, Gainesville will probably get high wind gusts and lots and lots of rain. I'm holding the people of The Bahamas in my heart.
