Hurricane Dorian Update:
As I type this, Dorian is mercilessly pounding the Bahama Islands. now a Cat 5 storm with wind speeds of 180 mph with wind gusts at 220 mph! The current forecast warns that the storm will slow down (now about 7 mph) and remain over the Islands for perhaps 36 hours! At some point in time the storm is predicted to make a turn to the north, hopefully sooner than later. Proximity to the eastern coast of Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas will make a huge difference in the damage by wind and water that these large population areas will sustain.
