The highlight today was tracking and finding 2 lionesses with their 4 cubs less than 3 months old. The lionesses had broken away from the Holy Pride to look after their vulnerable cubs. If they were to stay in the pride the cubs would probably be killed by over zealous play from the older cubs. The pair of mothers share equally in bringing up all of the cubs even nursing their sisters babies. The cubs are left hidden when the lionesses go off on a hunt but when they are back the cubs demand to play as you can see in my blips.
