A blossoming surprise

Today I've been on a full day course on leadership in the mountains. It's quite a big thing to give up a whole day of the weekend (that applies to attendees and those running it). It was very good and I'm glad I committed to doing it.

Yesterday my recently planted dwarf nectarine wasn't breaking into blossom, today it is. I blipped the dwarf peach a few weeks ago as it has started to grow leaves.

I'm surprised and delighted with the unexpected hint of bright pink blossom here. I'm not jumping ahead to fruit as a lot needs to line up and we have some potentially unseasonal dodgy weather in the next while.

Today's gratitude: For being able to choose to buy a coffee and something nourishing for my lunch.
