Slightly Surreal

I had a busy day today, trying to get caught up on mundane things after a couple of weeks away. Between picking up some paint for the living room and getting the weekly shop from Sainsbury's, I decided to walk over the road to the little reservoir on the outskirts of Haverhill, and after a few desultory shots of nesting geese (none of them particularly inspired), I glimpsed this vista through the trees and was struck by the slightly surreal effect of the tall dry grass blowing in the breeze.

Just saw Blinded by the Light at the cinema. We all loved it. Nice film.
