Layers

After a relaxing morning we walked into town and had lunch in the Penny Black cafe. Well worth a visit.

We then bought two ice creams, a rum and raisin for HtP and a toffee ripple for me. We’d just left the ice cream parlour when I felt something in my hair. A seagulls claws had raked through my hair and had tried to take my ice cream. He was not successful. After that I was more careful.

We then headed to the square by the theatre to listen to AKA47. See the extra. They were wearing beards as they had changed the words in the Tom Jones song Delia to I just couldn’t shave anymore instead of take anymore. They were very good.

We then briefly danced at the outdoor ceilidh before we went for a pizza. We had a take away and sat on the beach to eat it hence the image.

The evening performance was Ninebarrow and friends. The friends were four other sets of performers. It was a wonderful evening.
