Another Oor Wullie

The iconic D C Thomson comic character pops us everywhere just now in all sorts of guises in street art on the 'Oor Wullie's Big Bucket Trail'. It is raising money for sick children. Across Scotland there have been 200 bespoke sculptures of Wullie, each designed by artists, reflecting a unique aspect of Scotland's diverse culture. This one is inspired by the character of 'PC Murdoch' with his helmet and moustache. Money raised through city auctions will be used to support the work of various children's hospital charities. It is hoped to raise £2 million.
