Dumfries

Spent a lovely warm day walking around Dumfries exploring everywhere that we could. It really is very beautiful here.

The more and more that I discover about the huge part the town has played in Scottish history the more amazed I am. It’s fascinating stuff!

I had to see it to believe it and I am amazed that you can buy a 3 or 4 bedroom house here, with land and beautiful views for £150k
I found one 4 bedroom house with its own wood and lake for £200k.

Off exploring towards Castle Douglas tomorrow and along some of the coast.
