Media City

Photo taken by Joel Goodman (I think!) and features a scene in 2016 (New Years Eve) Manchester. It was displayed rather well in this OTT frame with the very dark wall behind.

Nice day walking around exploring some of Media City. Went to The Lowry to see some good art. There was an opera singer who was doing a free performance and had a very powerful voice.

Had lunch at Nando’s (fries, macho peas and portobello mushroom pitta) very nice. Dropped my mate off at a local train station when it was on and off raining- what a contrast to Greece.

Came home to find that MrH has repaired some tiles in the bathroom after removing an old, defunct shower system which was embedded in the wall. There are now some new kitchen cupboard doors, lighting under the cupboard doors (green!), an outdoor light and a new shelf in the study.

Feeling very tired after all the travel and excitement of the last few days.
