Mellow fruitfulness

Gorgeous day: crispy fresh morning*, sunny day, with an occasional fluff of wind so the washing doesn't need ironing.

Early start** to see the kids off to school. The summer seems to have lasted forever this year. TallGirl's last rentrée.

Work, then Mr B commandeered the Mac to use Photoshop for graphic design. My new vacuum arrived, which made me unreasonably happy. And lots of chat with neighbours - it's like the first day of the holidays for parents so we were all a bit hyper.

Later, much discussion about registering TallGirl to vote everywhere, and practical considerations for CarbBoy's foundry. Briefly a combined foundry / pizza oven was considered, but rejected on the grounds of size, and excessive crispiness of pizza.
