Light and shadow

Bit of a day today. It was supposed to be the boy's first ever day at school. Unfortunately, he got his fingers trapped in the car door just outside the school and spent his morning in A&E. He's OK, fortunately. 

But, on the bight side, he got some prints of the X-Ray of his hand and told me that he wanted a camera. That's two or my three kids thinking about photography, I might charge Canon and Lumix commission for this in the future.

He also said that he wanted to go mountaineering (which I used to do). Which explained why he was using his toy power drill and hammer as ice axes to scale the bookcase in his bedroom last night, before getting caught by his less than impressed mummy. Oops!
