Hauser & Wirth - Somerset

It sounds as if I've been to the solicitors, doesn't it? Some of you are probably more familiar with the names than I was but we went there today to meet George, Marian's brother and his wife Anne. Marian wanted him to see the Oudolf field. Piet Oudolf is a Garden Designer and a leading figure in the 'New Perennial' movement.  His projects include the Lurie Garden in Chicago and the New York High Line project. Marian He also designed those lovely gardens at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

So you can see his work is very much involved with City Architecture which is fortunate because that's the theme for today's Wideangle Wednesday Challenge which is hosted this week by steveng.

In my main blip you can see a view over the pond up to the Radic Pavilion, I've also added two extras, one of the main path and one from outside the gallery buildings. We had a great lunch at the Roth Bar and Grill on the premises and we had a walk into Bruton village before driving home. A ver enjoyable day.
