Nectar in the Rookery

The Rookery was full of butterflies this afternoon as a friend and I caught up over a cuppa. We spied a group of around six white butterflies fluttering over verbena then came across this red admiral and bee in the White Garden.

It’s been a day of getting things done. I sorted out some admin at the doctor’s surgery that I’d been meaning to get sorted for ages. A few ticks administered on the aging life admin To-Do list at last.

On another health report. The jury’s still out on whether Fred has measles. He’s still suffering a cold so not out of the woods yet. Taking the optimistic route, I checked into our airport hotel in advance of our arrival on Friday. All paws still crossed that we can go to Croatia and the measles doesn’t get Fred.
