Hanging Hawker, Blackberry Bokeh

I found this migrant hawker dragonfly hanging deep in a bramble bush. It remained motionless for ages, I thought it might be dead. In the end I touched its tail and it clattered into the air.

Ollie dog and I went to Panshanger Park again after lunch. We walked round Osprey Lake, she had her Dog Dip fix and then we stood with a friendly group of photographers. Some of them had been waiting all day in the hope that the osprey would appear. One, who lives close,  had got nice images of it around six last evening. We stayed until about five-thirty. The light was great as we left. I'll kick myself if it showed.
