Something from the past

In the early 1900s, Steveston, where I live, had 19 canneries and sites like this are the remains of these old buildings.  Only one remains and that is now a Heritage site, not a functioning cannery. however, Steveston is still the largest fishing port on the West Coast of North America and the fish are trucked to the nearest processing plant.
