Dating for Britain

We actually had a -child free- night out together!
My Father's Day present was tickets to see Alice Roberts' Digging into Britain's Past tour. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect from it or how academic it might be, but it was basically An Evening With... as she used her career as a broad timeline of going through Britain's anthropological and archaeological history. It was really good with loads of fascinating bits and bobs, like the Roman ruins in the basement of Chester's Pret-A-Manger.

The real win was getting to spend time with Louisa, we even had a meal out beforehand*.
