A day in the life

Pride

Kalmar Pride festival week is here. Activities every day from lectures to concerts and tomorrow is the big parade through town.
The Pride Choir did a performance at Kalmar theatre this evening. From the theatre entrance you can see the old water tower, now containing luxury flats and lit in rainbow colors and flags.

I was working as an "Audience host" as it's called when you help people to their seats and generally keep them happy. Interesting job, not very challenging but very social and, should someone take ill or if there is a fire, we are there as security to get people out and taken care of.

On Sunday I have some lunch guests so I took care of cleaning today, because tomorrow is the Pride parade and I'm going to the re-opening  of "Byteatern", a local theatre ensemble who has had their theatre building completely renovated and modernised. They do a specially written play tomorrow to celebrate the opening of the house and their new era in Kalmar.
