Making progress

Up early this morning to allow time for a good breakfast before heading off on a number of errands. First, there was my replacement blood test (as last time, three stabs rendered nothing). This time - following the advice of a fellow blipper (thank you, Trevor) - I made sure to drink plenty first. Then I kept pumping my fist while I sat in the waiting room, so by the time I was called a few minutes later, the nurse had no problem filling two phials with red stuff.

Then on we went to Plymouth for Mr PP to have his hip check-up. All is as it should be, so that was reassuring. Fitted around our appointments were visits to The Range (AKA Aladdin's Cave) and B&Q to buy some canvas cubes and boxes for storage. Now my jumpers are all sorted and easy to find and access. All ready for the winter autumn late summer.

Came home and put clean sheets on the bed before going for our daily constitutional in gorgeous late sunshine that turned everything to gold. Altogether feeling quite contented, and ready for the weekend. Have a good one, blipmates!
