The classic ..............

............ view of the Kelpies near Falkirk in Scotland.
(You can see how big they really are from the tiny people in front of them)

In the extras

- my FlowerFriday6_2019 (FF06_2019) contribution - also taken at Helix Park in the VERY stiff, cool breeze

- a centaur in the woods as we walked to see the Kelpies

- another classic Kelpie view with a touch of sepia.

These are THE most beautiful creatures.

I drove north to Edinburgh, on Thursday, to meet up with Naturelover (Shelley) and her lovely husband (Al) for an evening and a day.
We did a whistlestop tour of bits of the surrounding area that they hadn't seen on their Scottish tour - we managed the Kelpies, the Falkirk Wheel, fish and chips eaten the "proper" way (out of paper - in the car - it was drizzling with rain), a ride over the Forth Bridge and the little lighthouse at Leith Harbour.
Then back through the streets of Edinburgh to their hotel ready for them to take their literary tour that evening - I drove home arriving just before 23.00hrs.

A wonderful day with the best of friends, laughing, reminiscing and seeing new things together - making memories - something that money can never buy.

Safe onward travels, my friends, and we'll meet again soon I hope.
