Summer returned today

What a stunningly beautiful day  ......  warm and sunny ..... will it last?  Probably not :-((

Into Glasgow this morning to watch the start of the Tour of Britain cycle race.

A quick journey back home and then out for lunch ..... back in the middle of the afternoon and not wanting to waste the fine weather I cleared some debris from behind the shrubs which were pruned yesterday and then planted some daffodil bulbs. Before I collapsed with heat exhaustion I grabbed my camera to take a photo of the cosmos flower, plus hoverfly, in my neighbour's rather overgrown flower bed beside our shared fence.
