Porty Art Walk

Most of our day was organised around a walk down to Portobello to visit the exhibits in the Porty Art Walk. Also included in our trip out was a survey of the Portobello charity shops (a ball of gold lamé wool and a small photo album were purchased), and lunch and an ice cream with Véronique.

The main reason for visiting the show was to see Véronique's daughter Tzippy's installation at 42/8 Joppa Road. I have blipped part of her display of embroidery. No really, those aren't butterflies! If you check the extra, you'll see that they are stitched insects.

Of all the art that we saw, Tzippy's was the best - and I am not just saying that because I have known her since she was a tiny little girl.

Exercise today: walking (16,974 steps).
