London

We took the train down to London for a few days break. We had found a studio flat on Airbnb two minutes walk from Hyde Park, and a few minutes from Paddington. An ideal location for getting out and about in the city.

After dropping our bags we had a stroll round the Italian Gardens in Hyde Park and a wander down to the Serpentine bridge and the Diana Memorial.

We then found a pub in Paddington, The Dickens Tavern, where we had a satisfying meal.

Back to the flat then for a spot of tennis, US Open Mixed Doubles final, won by Jamie Murray and his partner Bethanie Mattek-Sands.
