Grown and made

The chillies are ripening and we are enjoying having a wee harvest.

Put to good use in a day in the kitchen, cooking for the freezer. Pulled pork, ham hock, pea and ham soup, chicken shawarma, mint and lemon sauce, chicken pies, mac'n'cheese all made and stored for good mid week meals.

Plus chipotle and ricotta bruschetta, with homemade ricotta no less for lunch! Eaten out on the patio in late summer sun.

Pretty perfect.
