Mission possible

Not the best quality photo but I had to record the new visitor to our garden.

The squirrel has discovered the peanuts and cheekily waits until we look away before nipping along the branch and hanging down to grab a nut before retreating high into the cherry tree to eat it.

On closer examination, it has nibbled a small hole in the bottom of the feeder and can now pull a nut out at will.

As of this morning, the feeder has now been completely emptied. One well fed squirrel.
