‘Hair Caught In The Wind Scarecrow’ Look

After an early hack out on China, I travelled to the Humber Bridge to meet friend and blipper WinchWench at The Old Tile Works now converted to restaurant and artisan studios. We had a lovely lunch, resisted cake and we went through the photos she’d taken of me and China at our photo shoot last month. Oh my, what a talented lady she is...they were gorgeous. China obviously looked handsome in every one but she even managed to make me look a little less old, less crinkled, less chubby and less awkward than most photographs do, although we did have a laugh at some of the rejected ‘hair caught in the wind scarecrow’ look ones!

We finished off with an ice cream, a nosy around the terracotta pot shop, a walk along the Humber Estuary and an impromptu photography lesson to a lady who had just been given a Sony A7 and didn’t have a clue how to use it!

The rest of the afternoon was spent rather lazily watching Burghley Horse Trials highlights on television...I have yet to work out if Mr Kit actually enjoyed watching it with me or if he is storing up the debt to be cashed in at the upcoming Rugby World Cup!
