The Foal Enjoyed His Share

I headed up to the yard after work with a plan to increase the level of work for China to get him fit and strong enough to be brought back into ridden work.

Today I took him in the school and worked on getting him working over his back using his core muscles by using two long reins from behind. He found it tough but worked really well.

It’s the last of the evening Ali and I went round to all the horses giving them a treat from the Barrow windfall apples we’ve been donated it’s safe to say Kouros the foal enjoyed his share.
