Mono Monday - Reflections

G and I went for a walk around the harbour at Wells this morning. The tide was right out, so it was more challenging than you'd think to get reflections for the challenge. I was also pleased to get a photo of the Lifeboat Horse with lifeboats in the background (see Extra). I've blipped it before at a high tide https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2493512016052882087 and was very pleased when I heard that the town had raised £15k to buy it and keep it as a permanent installation - evidently even the local children were donating their pocket money.

We also visited Wells Maltings for the first time, which is a new new £5m arts, heritage and community complex. We had a look around the art gallery and the really nice heritage centre although we only managed to cover a bit of the history of the area. particularly the malting industry. The Wells Maltings development saw the restoration and repair of the Grade II-listed former Maltings building. We were intending to also peruse the lovely shops there, but ran out of time so will have to return.
