London Day 3

We started this morning with a drink at the French coffee shop across the street, Les Filles then caught the bus from Lancaster Gate to Westminster Abbey

The plan was to do the Churchill War Rooms, but there was a bit of a queue so we took a walk up Whitehall to the National Gallery.

I was a bit disappointed at the lack of antiBrexit demonstrators outside Westminster, maybe they save the Europe flag flying for when Jon Snow is presenting Channel 4 news.

The weather was a little hit and miss with occasional showers so an indoors art gallery was ideal

We selected the specific artists we were interested in seeing, Constable, Turner, Klimt, Monet et al otherwise it's an impossible task to get round the entire place.

We walked back to the bus stop via a stroll in St James Park, taking a look at Dean's Yard by the abbey on the way.

As it's Mono Monday with the theme Reflections hosted by Nickimags888 I've chosen this pic of Trafalgar Square from the National Gallery balcony, showing reflections in the wet pavement, a bit touristy, but then that's what we are this week!
