Rydal Excursion

We had a wonderful day today. 12 of us piled into my friend’s home at Rydal for an early coffee and cuppa along with Mrs Beckett’s scrumptious delights before the troops headed off into a blizzard for a couple of hours. Carol, Tunabell (see extra), CCN and I stayed home to prepare lunch because we thought they would all be back within half an hour!! Not to be, so obviously the photo opportunities were many. I think it had all the hallmarks of a great success yesterday and often inclement weather can cause this to happen. That’s my well worn theory anyway :))
