A rare sighting

This image was taken at dusk and believe it or not, I’ve had to lighten it up a little. We very rarely see the King Parrots out at Wombat Hollow, so I was suprised to see this beauty drinking from the bird bowls tonight. He was competing with the Gang Gangs and they seemed pretty miffed that he was taking over their bowls. It’s been a recovery day for us today after three pretty hectic days. A good long “Nanna nap” this afternoon sorted us both out though :)
