Training

It has been raining non-stop all day. Luckily I had booked the training hall for 2 hours, so the boys and I have not had to be outdoors too much.

Hero has worked so so hard today. He managed to combine 3 (already known) verbal cues and understand a completely new move within about 20 minutes. He is a star! And we are close to having a choreography that I like ready. Then we just need to learn to perform it :-D.

Gollum did some indoor Nose Work searches. He then worked on 2 new moves before he finished with an outdoor Nose Work search.

And little Biscuit did some heelwork, some weaves and he pushed his ball (see yesterday's blip).

A great day for all 3 boys and for me.

The Norwegian Kennel Club have now announced that they are withdrawing their teams from all international championships until they know more about the deadly dog disease. I feel so sorry for the Norwegian handlers. They must be both worried and upset.
The Danish, Swedish and Finnish Kennel Clubs have decided to prolong the exclusion of dogs resident in Norway from all shows and trials until 16th September. So far the cause of the disease is still unknown. We do not know why the dogs die, how it spreads or how to stop it. Scandinavia holds it's breath and pray.

See you tomorrow
