Cross Stone Graveyard

This is a small corner of Cross Stone Graveyard, Todmorden.  A few of Mr MD's ancestors lie here as well as an uncle of mine.  It was interesting to explore and we were amazed at the number of names we recognised on the gravestones.   We sat awhile by the grave side of a young man we knew who died at the age of 62.  Far too young.   A lovely spot with magnificent views over the Pennines (and Stoodley Pike).
