Thank You For the Days ..

Horizontal

After singing this morning we went down to Newhaven. TM had a lunch venue in his sights, but first we called at EDA, a charity which supports refugee camps in Lebanon, and handed over an Ikea bag-full of first size baby clothes which Ali had been storing in our loft and which won't be needed again in our family.

I fancied a walk along the old pier, but it was so windy that we had to give up a third of the way out. Maybe the warning notices are there for a reason?  I just about managed to hold the camera steady for a shot.

The wide-angle challenge today is 'A Grand Pile' (thanks to Steveng for hosting). If a pile can be horizontal, this one is certainly made of grand blocks of stone - huge, very weathered and tricky to walk on, there are large gaps!

The lunch place turned out to be as good at TM promised, and tonight he's treating me again - fish and chips at the Fishmarket, providing the queues aren't too long.
