The Bankies' Bike

It took a while today in Central Scotland  but eventually the rain stopped and the warm sunshine  broke through.
This bike sculpture, known as the Bankies' Bike, is part of an incentive to encourage local people to use the Clydebank Canal towpath. Commissioned as part of the ‘Clydebank Rebuilt’ scheme, the sculpture, designed by John Crosby, stands nearly 3 metres tall and is a magnet for children.
