Sammy's Poor Paw

A breezy day, and mostly sunny.  There was torrential rain at 2pm, dried up again and sunshine. 

A day off work, and got on with some house work.  I hung out a load of washing, within seconds, the rain came on.  Popped into Lerwick in the afternoon.  Big Brian and Madeline popped along this evening for a cuppa, before I head to work in the pub later. 

Sammy had an appointment at the vets this afternoon, needing a manicure, nails were a bit too long.  It was a young vet on today, and must still be in training.  She cut off a bit too much on several nails, and it was a blood bath, Sammy panicking and in distress, along with me!  Poor Sammy had to get bandaged up.  It took a few attempts for Sammy to find his footing and balance.  I've taken the bandage off tonight, and all fine again.  He did manage some walkies after the ordeal.  Taken outside St Catherine's, Houl Road, Scalloway.
