Birthday and Sandringham

The day started with lots of FaceTime family calls as Mollie and Mr L share the same birthday. Then we set off to Sandringham for the day. It lived up to expectations and I was glad I took the time to go into the church as well. They’re not usually my thing, but wow, absolute opulence, history, beauty and silver! So much silver! The weather for mid September couldn’t have been better! It was a good day. More FaceTime when we returned to the cottage, this time with my brother who had sent an epresent in the form of a three month cheese subscription. Intriguing, the first month arrives in October.

Off to the Victoria for a very expensive dinner!
