Walking high

Today we walked from our hotel in Austria via the Leutasch Spirit of the Gorge walkway to our next hotel in the pretty village of Mittenwald in Germany. I was surprised how long the metal walkway along and over the gorge was, this is just a very small part of it. When we set off from the hotel this morning, there were lots of people walking in the direction we were going and like sheep we followed, only to realise we were off course for where we wanted to go. So we headed across a wet field and got ourselves back on track and consequently lost most of the other walkers. We have been walking under the shade of trees for most of the week which is very welcome now that it has warmed up considerably.
