Today we filled in the walking gap between Osmington and Lulworth Cove. The climbs were not so steep as yesterday’s but they were long, see first extra. The main shot is the scene as we were returning to Lulworth. The third extra is Durdle Door which was quite busy. The second extra was a rescue being carried out of a para glider who landed on the cliff. I don’t think he was injured, only his pride. I counted 20 rescuers of various teams, police, ambulance, 2 fire engines and an air ambulance were all in attendance although we heard that the air ambulance had been cancelled and someone in the gliding association complained about the helicopter said the pilot. A warm day today although the car was only showing 19 degrees. Just under 10 miles walked today but including some tough climbs.
